Francoise 30" x 40" Oil on Canvas 2008 Ye-Ye icon Francoise Hardy seems almost too amazing to be real. She could make a man of my youth feel like he was born in the wrong time and place. In tribute to her cultural contributions, I made this portrait, attempting to convey her perceived impossibity with statue-like tones and the subtle radiations that would mesmerize any who were lucky enough to look her way.
